    Housekeeper (p/t)

    Maureen is one of our valued Housekeeping team, ensuring our lovely venue remains spic and span and providing superb hospitality to our visiting clients and artists. She also acts as front of house staff for our wide range of arts and communtiy events.

    Administration Support Officer (Job Share)

    As Administration Support Officer, Sharon assists the Arts & Cultural Services Manager and the other Officers with the centre's administration and marketing requirements. In addition she handels external bookings and their catering needs. Sharon shares her duties with Zoe Bratton.

    Jamie Austin

    Museum & Heritage Officer

    Jamie programmes all the heritage and local history exhibitions and activities at the Centre, maintains Limavady Borough Council’s museum collection and manages the Green Lane Museum at the Roe Valley Country Park. Jamie has a BA (Hons) in History as well as a Masters in Culture Heritage and Museum Studies which she gained from University of Ulster. Before joining Limavady Borough Council in April 2013, Jamie worked for Ballymoney Museum as a Museum Assistant.

    Cherri Sutherland

    Visitor Services Officer (f/t)

    One of our Visitor Services team, Cherri provides tourist information and related services, helps with administration and operates our Box Office. Before joining the RVACC, Cherri qualified as a Patisserie Chef and worked in the hospitality industry for 10 years. She furthered her education by obtaining a BSc Honours Degree in Travel and Tourism Management at Coleraine University of Ulster. During her course she completed a year’s placement with Limavady Borough Council in the Tourist Information Centre and received a commendation on her placement.

    Desima Connolly

    Arts & Cultural Services Officer/Manager

    Desima facilitates the development, marketing and running of the Centre and promotes cultural activity across the borough. She programmes the arts activities at the venue, including theatre, music, performance events, creative learning workshops, gallery talks and curates the visual arts exhibitions. Desima has a BA(Hons) in Fine Arts and postgraduate qualifications in both Fine Arts (MFA) and Cultural Heritage & Museum Studies. Before joining Limavady Borough Council in July 2010, Desima had worked in various cultural roles for over fourteen years, including positions within other local government, arts organisations and community groups, developing a strong passion for community arts practice. Desima represents Council on the Causeway Coast Arts Committee, Arts Managers Group NI, Forum for Local Government and the Arts NI, the City of Culture Volunteer Steering Committee, the North West Regional College Employers Advisory Forum and the John Hewitt Society. Speak to Desima if you're interested in events, exhibition or tutoring opportunities, your local cultural organisation is seeking support or for any potential arts-related business promotion.

    Geraldine Smyth

    Arts Outreach & Events Officer

    Geraldine is responsible for the development of arts outreach across the Borough and the organisation of the annual Danny Boy Festival, Christmas and Halloween events together with traditional annual events such as the Piano and Instrumental competitions. Geraldine has post graduate qualifications in International Tourism Development from the University of Ulster and Sustainable Rural Development from Queens' Belfast.

    Billy Coyles

    Duty Officer

    Billy oversees the maintenance and security of the Centre and makes sure everything runs smoothly. He also supervises all our corporate and community hire bookings, ensuring our visitors are happy with our service and provides technical support for our many exhibitions.     Clare Quinn

    Tourism Development Officer (Job Share)

    Working alongside Zoe, Clare's key areas include tourism marketing, visitor management and the development of the tourism product, services and facilities. Clare and Zoe also look after our retail gift shop. Clare has a BA (Hons) in English Literature and Economic and Social History from QUB and a MA in Tourism Management from University of Ulster. Clare has been with Limavady Borough Council for 10 years and worked in various temporary marketing and tourism poisitions prior to joining Limavady Borough Council.

    Daryl Harkin

    Technician (p/t)

    Daryl manages all the technical equipment in the Centre including sound and lighting requirements for theatre and music events and helps stage our exhibitions. Daryl is supported by casual technicians Alan McCracken and Simon Nugent and also has some Duty Officer responsibilities. He has a BSc in Music Technology and is also a practising musician, singer and songwriter. Before joining our team, Daryl worked for Belfast City Council.

    Tourism Development Officer/Administration Support Officer (Job Share)

    Working alongside Clare, Zoe's key areas include tourism marketing, visitor management and the development of the tourism product, services and facilities. Zoe and Clare also look after our retail gift shop. She has a BA(Hons) in Leisure Management (Arts, Sport and Countryside Management) and has managed to combine her love of tourism and travel through various employment opportunities in America and Australia. Zoe also currently fulfills a part-time role as Administration Support Officer, sharing duties with Lynn Nixon.
